 Arena Complex

Amman University is proud to have this Complex which is unique by modern
standards. It offers its members to pursue any sports activity, watch sports events, arts
and cultural happenings, or just to enjoy a quiet and entertaining holiday:
About the Arena:
- This complex has a capacity of more than five thousand people.
- Its overall area is around twenty thousand square meters.
- Construction costs exceeded twenty million $US.
- The entire complex is equipped with air conditioning and central heating.
- The most advanced ozone purifying system had been installed in the swimming pool.
- The highest flooring standards have been applied to all courts and halls.

Multi Purpose Hall
|
With an area of four thousand square meters, this hall can seat five thousand persons.
It has all kinds of equipment that allow flexibility of use including:
- Sports, like: basketball, volleyball, tennis, boxing, wrestling gymnastics, billiards,
handball, and ping pong.
- Visual and Audio functions : This could include drama performances, musical
shows, dances and other arts. The latest sound and light and video equipment has
been installed.
- A hall for national and international exhibitions.
- A cultural and conference room.
- Festival and functions room, used for such events as AU graduation ceremony.

The Swimming Pool

A semi-Olympic pool used for training and official games, it is equipped with the
latest ozone desinfection and
purification systems. The pool has a spectators area which seats 1500 persons, a
swimming pool for children and several recreation areas for training and
entertainment.

Bowling Center
 |
It consists of six lanes with all necessary equipment such as spectators' seats
and buffet. Renting equipment is also available. A computer program has been
introduced to display scores and to monitor players ‘ errors by tracking the ball with
video cameras. The most up-to-date bowling technique, Glow in the Dark, has also
been introduced to give the games a touch of excitement.

Squash Center

This Center consists of four squash courts and can seat (167) spectators. The
courts are equipped with the latest lighting system and wooden floors to enable both
players and spectators to enjoy the game and to provide a safe environment for players.

Health Center
 |
The Beauty and Health Center has a number of facilities for fitness which help in increasing blood
circulation like massage and aerobics in addition to exercises that add beauty and
fitness. Customers can also enjoy a Turkish bath, a Sauna, a steam bath. or a Jacuzzi.

Subscription
 |
How to use the Arena Facilities?
All residents of the Amman area can take advantage of the arena facilities at a
reasonable charge. Any one interested can subscribe for membership. Memberships can be
granted on a single person basis or on a family basis. Subscription categories include:
- A monthly rate.
- A half year rate.
- A yearly rate.
