The Faculty
The Faculty of Finance and Administrative Sciences was established in 1990
with three departments, namely, Department of Finance and Banking,
Department of Business Administration and the Department of Accounting.
The first department offers the degree of Bachelor of Science in Finance
and Banking. The second department offers the degree of Bachelor of
Science in two areas of specialization: Management and Hospitals
Administration, while the third offers the degree of Bachelor of
Science in Accounting. |

Objectives
The Faculty of Finance and Administrative Sciences aims at providing the
business and public sectors with qualified manpower. Therefore, efforts
are continuing to introduce other fields of business sciences, in
particular, Hotels and Tourism being the last to be introduced, thereby
allowing new students to be admitted in this field.

Department of Finance and Banking
The Department of Finance and Banking is considered to be one of the principal departments in Amman University. Its objective is to prepare highly qualified graduates who are greatly needed in the labor market both in Jordan and in the Arab countries.
Department of Business Administration
Nowadays, management is considered to be the basis for success in any organization. The Department of Business Administration with its three areas: Management, Hospitals Administration and Hotels and Tourism try to respond positively to the needs of the local and regional labor markets.
Department of Accounting
Students majoring in Accounting are prepared for a career in the field of Accounting in a variety of business fields, industrial, and government agencies. Individuals working in accounting are involved in preparing financial reports for enterprises providing information for different users to help them in their decisions making.
